The following is the projected timeline we are currently working with:

• AUGUST 2023 – The property is being surveyed and we are working with Kendal and Greenbrier on developing a general plan. We have negotiated a Purchase Option Agreement and will finalize the purchase of the land when we secure bond financing.
• NOVEMBER 2023 – Preliminary architectural plans should be completed, and will continue to be refined with input from future residents.
• FEBRUARY 2024 – We launch the Future Residents List. People interested in Life Plan Humboldt can post $1000 (fully refundable) to get on a waiting list. At the same time a welcome center will open in McKinleyville with staff trained to guide prospective residents about transitioning from your current home to your LPH home.
• SEPTEMBER 2024 – We begin accepting pre-sales deposits to secure bond financing. We will need to receive 10% deposits on 70% of the units before we can finalize the purchase of the land and begin construction.
• APRIL 2027 – The projected move-in date for residents is currently April 2027. Stay tuned, we will keep you informed.
