Ten new volunteers attended a training in February and can now comfortably answer questions about Life Plan Humboldt, and know when to refer questions to a Board member. Thanks go to Carol Rische, Sue MacConnie, Bill Tomlin, Edie Butler, Quynh Schafer, Rosa Mulligan, Tina Mackenzie, Tai Massion, Patty Long and Karen Suiker. They learned about how a life plan community works and heard the history of Life Plan Humboldt. JoAnn Schuch shared a visioning model of the proposed LPH property with scale models of buildings to help us imagine our future community. At the conclusion of the training, we walked the future site of LPH south of Hiller in McKinleyville, always an inspiration.
