I look around our home and think about the burden We’d be leaving for our kids to untangle when we die. They would take care of things but I’d rather we choose to do it differently.
We don’t need the amount of space we currently have. We live in about half of our home most of the time. So, why not make a move while we’re healthy and young enough to enjoy the adventure and move to a smaller home in a neighborhood that’s accommodating and stimulating for our aging minds and bodies. A neighborhood that is home to music and art and open spaces. And trees!
A place that supports the physical needs and intellectual interests of an older generation.
